Collection Deets:

It's centered around my current favorite band Breaking Benjamin. Previous faves included Stone Temple Pilots & Linkin Park but .... you know.

The names are some of my favorite title and lyrics. One thing I love about their music is a single song is never about a single thing - very open to interpretation. So not all the songs go from a designated point A to point B and can mean a multitude of things to different people. When I first started listening it was to get rid of rage in alot of ways but I moved past that and now feel and absorb the beauty, even if it is or can be on the darker side. I've pulled from them before for color names most famously "Beautifully Broken"

Collection Part 1 includes 5 colors:

Dark Before The Dawn: It's always darkest before the breakthrough/revelation/lessons learned ect. For some this is hitting rock bottom and loosing everything. For me 2009 was that time for me. This is a stunning deep blue superfine shimmer. 

Such A Lovely, Lonely Night: For me I needed time alone to figure out everything - and that was ok. I needed that time to figure out a couple of things. How was I going to move forward? What did I want for a change instead of being what everyone else wanted. This is the same base color as Dark Before The Dawn but with added gold and copper shimmer chunks looking like the dark night sky.

Time Will Take Our Place: This one reminds me tomorrow is not promised and to take advantage of this life and not wallow in the past. It hurts, and never goes away but don't let it define your life. Take what you want and leave the rest behind. A beautiful bronzy brown with the same gold and copper shimmers (the counterpart w/o the shimmers is in part 2)

The Turning Of The Tide: Feeling the pull of gravity - the force of the universe - that inner feeling -pushing and pulling you in all directions - you can feel it at your core when something changes - be it a breakthrough or whatever. It is a deep teal super fine shimmer with teal, green and blue flashbacks and thee gold and copper shimmers. Reminds me of the deepest, darkest arctic churning water

Heavy Won't Hold Me Down: This one is special to me and what I went through. Not only the mental weight of it but also the physical weight. Lasting impressions include loose clothing, constant airflow so I feel like I can breathe and lightweight coverings at night. This is a show stopper teal with teal, blue and green flashbacks in a super fine shimmer.
