Collection Deets:

It's centered around my current favorite band Breaking Benjamin. Previous faves included Stone Temple Pilots & Linkin Park but .... you know.

The names are some of my favorite title and lyrics. One thing I love about their music is a single song is never about a single thing - very open to interpretation. So not all the songs go from a designated point A to point B and can mean a multitude of things to different people. When I first started listening it was to get rid of rage in alot of ways but I moved past that and now feel and absorb the beauty, even if it is or can be on the darker side. I've pulled from them before for color names most famously "Beautifully Broken"

Collection Part 2 includes 5 colors:

Ashes Of Eden: In 2009 my world burned down. What I thought or hoped for was no longer possible so the life I live now is among the ashes of what was. Even though it's not as expected it is still beautiful. It is a beautiful sagey/moss green with those same gold and copper shimmers.

Falling In Between: Don't be afraid to speak up, and follow your path before you are buried beneath what everyone else wants or expects - BE YOU!  This is the base color of Ashes Of Eden without the extra shimmer,  a beautiful sagey/moss green super fine shimmer.

What Lies Beneath: There is that dark side that is just below the surface if you look deep enough. Lies, deceit, hatred, cruelness. A beautiful bronzy brown in a super fine shimmer (the counterpart with the bigger shimmers is in part 1)

Love Left Me Hollow: For the longest time I was heartbroken and just yearned for a different situation or things to have broke differently. But that line expresses that feeling perfectly - it took until meeting Stephen in 2019 to not feel hollow anymore but full of love. This one is a gorgeous superfine shimmer in a smokey purple with smokey pink flashbacks.

Wounded Heart Within: Taking those steps to move forward and past heartbreak with that wounded heart within is so difficult but well worth the risk. It is the counterpart of Love Left Me Hollow but with the gold and copper shimmers.
